Joko Anwar
Joko Anwar (b. 1976) is a director and screenwriter from Indonesia. He was brought up on horror and kung fu flicks, and worked as a journalist and critic before venturing into the world of filmmaking. After receiving much acclaim in Indonesia for the romantic comedy Janji Joni, he has directed another six feature films that have reached an international audience.
